Your position |
This position is responsible for installing and demonstrating TRUMPF’s TruMark Laser Marking machines for customers. Troubleshoot and repair machines with problems functioning. Train customers in the use and repair of these machines. Install and demonstrate TRUMPF’s TruMark Laser Marking machines primarily at customers’ locations. Troubleshoot and repair machine related problems. Must have a high level of PC skills, and utilize SIS software records; update and maintain as necessary upon completion of service calls. Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP software and other computer skills as required by the position. Accurately report technical conditions and information from the field and perform required work with minimal supervision. Travel requirements approximately 50%, including overnight travel. Travel throughout North America is required, some international travel. Must be able to lift 50lbs without aid and interface with customers and company personnel in a professional manner. Train customers in use and repair of TRUMPF machines in a complete and organized manner; and provide customer phone support in-house, as required.

Excellent communication skills are required as this position involves extensive contact with customers. Extensive experience in Mechanics and Electronics field required. Extensive knowledge of software applications for machine tools required. Two- year technical degree in Electronics, Mechanics, or Laser Optics or equivalent combination of work experience and training required.
