CO2 Laser Scanner for Remote Welding

Fast and Precise from Spot to Spot or Seam to Seam

For precise, fast welding, TRUMPF developed a scanner for remote welding with TRUMPF TruFlow series CO2 lasers.

With remote welding, a laser beam of long focal length and high beam quality is guided across the three-dimensional workpiece. In contrast to conventional laser welding, the focusing optic is not moved, only the focusing point. This takes place by means of dynamic tilting of fixed mirrors above the workpiece. The laser power is controlled synchronously to the movement.

Remote welding technology opens up several interesting options, especially where the welding of small components in high-volume production is concerned.

TRUMPF products are rigorously engineered to provide cost effective, efficient and productive solutions.
