TRUMPF Joins in TV Spot to Promote Manufacturing

TRUMPF recently took part in a television campaign to promote interest in manufacturing. The new advertising campaign aims to attract high school students and young adults to manufacturing careers that require high-tech skills. It is sponsored by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA).

The TV spot highlights an employee from TRUMPF’s laser assembly department. The ad has aired on MTV, Comedy Central, and Nick at Night, and will continue to run throughout June. Radio spots will also air on local stations.

The ad directs interested young people to "The Next Generation Manufacturing Center" (www.manufacturingcareers.org), a special website filled with information on technician and engineering training programs offered through the state's twelve community colleges.
