TRUMPF Inc. Completes Acquisition of AFM Canada

Strengthens Leadership Position in the Field of Fabricating and Laser Technology.

FARMINGTON, Conn., October 2, 2007 – On September 6th, 2007, TRUMPF Inc. acquired 100% of Advanced Fabricating Machinery (AFM), Canada. AFM was formed on July 1, 1997 by TRUMPF Inc. and Robert Watson as an equal joint venture. The recent completion of the acquisition of AFM contributes to TRUMPF’s leadership position in the field of fabricating and laser technology in North America.
