A light/laser-based visual inspection machine, the QUALIFIER provides manufacturers with a high-speed, high-precision option for quality measurement. Using the QUALIFIER, a user can measure punched, formed and laser-cut sheet metal parts, quickly, precisely and simultaneously. The QUALIFIER makes it possible to develop programs using reverse engineering; it can detect the actual contour of a part and convert the data back into a CAD file.
At this year’s Quality Expo, TRUMPF will demonstrate the compact TQ 1250 has a 4 by-4-foot (1250-by-1250-mm) inspection area. Notable for its quickness, the TQ 1250 performs its operations at scanning speeds of up to 1430 inches per minute. The highly-accurate visual inspection process takes a few seconds to just a few minutes. Software analysis point out any errors, displayed in red on the monitor. A full-color, visual inspection report can be printed out, emailed and used as documentation for quality assurance purposes.
The VectorMark can be used to mark serial numbers which can be read by a CCD camera for electronic processing. The VectorMark can mark even synthetic materials quickly, accurately and with high contrast.
