An array of precision laser welding, cutting and marking technology used in the plastics industry will be shown in the TRUMPF booth at the Plastec West 2003 show, February 19 -21, 2003 in Anaheim, California.
On exhibit in booth 5617/5619 will be the TRUMPF PowerWeld workstation for precision welding, the ProfiWeld laser welding workstation for craft welding of small parts, a static display of the HL 22P pulsed solid-state laser system for precision welding and precision cutting, and the VectorMark compact laser marking system.
The diode-pumped VectorMark laser marking system can be used to mark plastic substrates and its outstanding beam quality results in high accuracy for even the most complex and highly detailed work. The high-speed technology shortens processing times for plastic materials and improves contrast without risk of surface damage.
The TRUMPF PowerWeld uses laser technology to provide a cost-effective practical alternative for mold restoration, repair and modification. The ProfiWeld laser welding workstation is designed for craft welding of small parts.
The HL 22 P pulsed solid-state laser unit is especially suitable for precision welding and precision cutting.
