TRUMPF Spotlights New Automated Flatsheet Laser Cutting Machine at WESTEC 2004

Visit us in booth 3532

This March, come join the more than 10,000 job shop owners, executives, manufacturing management, engineers, and many others heading to Los Angeles for the 40th WESTEC Advanced Productivity Exposition.

In booth 3532 at WESTEC 2004, TRUMPF Inc. will spotlight their latest concept in flatsheet laser cutting, the new TRUMATIC (TC) L 2510 XL FMC, a machine designed specifically for automated production.

The compact, productive and flexible TC L 2510 XL FMC combines a load and unload device with a high-speed laser cutting machine. A rapid in-line load and unload device takes care of all material handling tasks and eliminates the need for a traditional pallet changer.

All of the TC L 2510 XL FMC components, including the new TRUMPF TCF 1 laser resonator, were designed to offer users a cost-effective option for automated laser production. The machine achieves high processing speeds and consistent accuracy in thin gauge material up to half-inch-thick carbon steel.

Also on display at WESTEC 2004 will be the TRUMABEND V85 precision press brake and VectorMark compact laser marker.

Economical short-run production of precision-fit components with tight radii and small flanges are the hallmarks of the V85 and other TRUMABEND V Series press brakes.

The VectorMark compact laser marker offers manufacturers a highly-accurate, highly-efficient laser marking system. The state-of-the-art, diode-pumped system is also well known for easy reproducibility and accessibility in hard-to-reach locations.

The WESTEC show will take place March 22 to 25, 2004 in Los Angeles, California.
