TRUMPF to Feature Laser Cutting and Precision Bending Technologies at FABTECH 2004

At the FABTECH 2004 trade show in Cleveland, Ohio from October 26-28, TRUMPF Inc. will display the latest in highly flexible and productive sheet metal fabrication technology in booth 9002. The latest TRUMPF power tools, including the new N 700-2 nibbler, will be on display in booth 12022.

Laser cutting technology will once again be a spotlight of the TRUMPF booth. A new high-speed 5-by-10-foot flatsheet laser cutter, will be introduced at FABTECH 2004. Innovative technology allows this laser cutting machine to achieve rapid acceleration rates (up to 1.5 g), which improves overall laser cutting productivity. Additional advanced laser cutting technology will be on display with the TC L 2510 automated, high-speed flatsheet laser cutter featuring the new TCF 1 CO2 resonator.

Another highlight of the show will be an updated and improved version of the popular TRUMPF TrumaBend V Series line of precision press brakes. New four-cylinder technology developed by TRUMPF provides more bending space, superior accuracy, and even higher productivity. New models in this series will indicate the machine‘s press tonnage in kilonewtons, for example TrumaBend V 1300.

Innovations in CNC punching technology, precision bending, laser marking, programming software and punch and press brake tooling will also be on display.
