FARMINGTON, Conn., February 1, 2007 – At MD&M West 2007 in Anaheim, California, TRUMPF will show the latest advancements in laser technology for marking, welding and cutting. The display will include a diode-pumped solid-state laser marking system and a pulsed solid-state laser.
The highlight of the TRUMPF exhibit will be the debut of the VectorMark 5 HP – a high performance laser marking system. The latest innovation in laser marking offers improved pulse power and achieves greater marking speeds. Increased pulse-to-pulse stability leads to highly consistent and high quality marks. The VectorMark 5 HP is designed with an automatic laser power calibration (LPC) system. This ensures repeatability in tightly regulated processes such as those used in medical applications.
TRUMPF will also highlight the TruPulse laser, a pulsed solid-state laser specifically designed for high pulse-to-pulse stability. By increasing pulse frequency, the welding cycle is reduced. Precision welding of thin foil, fine wire, and thin-walled tubing are possible with the advanced pulse energy of the TruPulse lasers.
