TRUMPF Laser Cutting, Bending and Laser Marking on Display at WESTEC 2008

Innovative products show advances in manufacturing

FARMINGTON, Conn., January 4, 2008 – TRUMPF will exhibit its laser cutting, bending and laser marking products at WESTEC 2008, booth 2958, taking place March 31 – April 3 in Los Angeles, Calif. TRUMPF will highlight the TruLaser 2030 with integrated automation. Also on display will be the TruBend 3066 press brake, the TruMark 6130 marking laser and TruTops programming software.

Key features of the TruLaser 2030 include a moving safety enclosure that provides safe operation with easy access to the processing area and integrated automation that is expandable with material carts to increase flexibility and reduce processing time in unmanned operation. The machine is available in three working area sizes, allowing fabricators to use the material size that best fits their needs.

TRUMPF’s TruBend 3066 is a flexible machine with an excellent cost-benefit ratio that is easy to operate and delivers precise results. The machine has a press force of 72 tons and an 80-inch bed length providing fabricators with a spacious work area.

User friendliness is the focus of the new version of TruTops programming software, including a new modern user interface, increased productivity through Product Data Management and a more efficient nesting processor. Also on display at WESTEC will be the TruMark 6130 marking laser. Superior beam quality and stable pulse-to-pulse performance guarantee superior quality part marking.
