Course Highlights:
- Laser Safety includes information on the effects and properties of laser radiation, safety precautions and laser safety in regards to TruFlow lasers.
- The basics on laser theory and how a laser works.
- Sub-Assemblies, including laser controls, the functions of each card and TASC 200.
- Information on the beam generator including roots pump gas cooling, mirrors, etc.
- Changing the water in the chillers, chemicals, and K1 & K2.
- Information on the laser resonators and mirrors, roots rotation, match box, and shutter.
- Gas & Vacuum, including short plastic lines, gas filters and quality.
- Information on discharge with beam dump and anode plumbing.
- Set-up and maintenance, including gas fill rate, the gearbox pump and tune modes.
- Electrical Components.
- Information on the RF generator, including parts, analog values, sacrificial anodes and fiber optic cables.
- A tour of the CO2 resonator.
- How to put the laser in operation.
- General trouble shooting.
Duration:
4 days, 32 hours.
