In continuous production processes, products have to be marked without stopping the process. The “marking on the fly” (MOF) option superimposes the movement of the work piece that is to be marked with the movement of the laser beam, so that the mark is distortion free. The speed of the transport facility is measured continuously by an encoder signal – which enables a consistent print quality, even when the system is started or stopped.
