This year’s course will focus on the technique of hip arthroscopy for the treatment of hyaline cartilage damage and lesions of the acetabular labrum and the management of FAI. Step-by-step guidelines on how to enter the joint and, most importantly, how to work within it will be provided. We expect debates on established techniques and new developments including cartilage transplantation and labral reconstruction. Again, live arthroscopies with different surgeons from Europe and the United States will be transmitted into the lecture hall. Different techniques of positioning, distraction, portal placement and operative treatment will be presented, provoking constructive discussions in the auditorium.
