BCL Manufacturing expands its laser cutting capabilities
BCL Manufacturing Inc. of Windber, PA recently expanded its fleet of fabricating equipment with a state-of-the-art TruLaser 3030 fiber with a 4kW TruDisk laser and LiftMaster Compact automated handling solution. The TruLaser 3030 fiber laser cutting machine is a flexible, productive and universal choice for high-quality laser processing across a wide range of material types and thicknesses. Combined with the LiftMaster Compact, which keeps pace with the increased speed of the fiber laser cutting machine technology, BCL is able to processes a wider range of materials with increased speed and quality.
Powered by TRUMPF’s fiber-guided TruDisk 4001 laser with the BrightLine fiber technology, BCL’s TruLaser 3030 fiber is able to process up to 1 inch thick steel and 0.8 inch stainless and aluminum with high productivity, fast positioning speeds and low energy consumption. It is also able to process 0.325 inch thick non-ferrous materials such as copper and brass. Designed to be simple and self-explanatory, the machine is ergonomic and built with the highest regard for safety. The enclosed frame with safety screens keeps operators safe from the laser light while still fully able to oversee the machine while it is processing parts.
