TRUMPF presents the power of choice at FABTECH 2010

FARMINGTON, Conn., November 2, 2010 - TRUMPF will feature products that offer fabricators choices in cutting edge technology, while always emphasizing the utmost in efficiency, productivity and safety, at FABTECH 2010, November 2-4 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. TRUMPF products will be located in booth 1701. Highlights include the introduction of the TruPunch 3000, TruLaser laser cutting systems and other innovative products and services from TRUMPF.

 

TruPunch 3000: TRUMPF's newest punching machine

The new TruPunch 3000 provides a unique, skeleton-free processing strategy not found on any other punch machine in the world. TRUMPF is the first manufacturer to offer this innovation on a punch. Its small footprint, compact automation concept and skeleton free processing put the power of choice in customers' hands. The TruPunch 3000 with its electric punching head technology averages electrical consumption of about 5 kW, which makes the machine very energy efficient.  

The TruLaser 1030 fiber with TruDisk 2001 solid state laser and 2 kW of laser power, and the TruLaser 1030 with TruCoax 2500, featuring 2.5 kW of power.

 

In addition to the TruLaser 1030's various options for thin materials, TRUMPF offers the TruLaser 3030 for high speed cutting in sheet thicknesses up to 1 in. setting the standard for the future with features that further increase productivity. This popular machine is now available with up to 6kW of laser power and TRUMPF's RotoLas tube cutting option. Flexibility is also inherent in the machine; for example, choose where you want the location of the pallet changer based on the layout of your shop floor.

 

TruBend Series 5000 and 7000: more options, greater flexibility

What do you require of your press brake? TRUMPF continues to put the power of choice in manufacturers' hands by providing innovative, industry-leading products to address any bending requirement. Fabricating solutions are found in both their hydraulic and electric press brakes. The TruBend Series 5000 is a hydraulic system for a wide variety of precision bending of parts in various sizes and material thicknesses, whereas the TruBend Series 7000 is an electric press brake that offers high speed bending of smaller parts from thinner materials and features ergonomically-correct conditions for the operator.

Completing TRUMPF's line up at this year's FABTECH include the TruMark 3130 with TruMark Station 5000, a TruDiode laser, TruTops software, and TRUMPF's line of portable power tools.
