First spray, then form

With spray lubrication of the die, it is possible to lubricate the underside of the sheet before the forming process.

Spray lubrication

Spray lubrication

An oil-air mixture is sprayed through a nozzle onto the underside of the sheet. The nozzle is built in under the parts chute immediately in front of the die adapter. Prior to forming, the sheet is sprayed in the forming position. For this purpose, the sheet moves to the spray position. The oil is applied precisely where the forming is to take place.

Benefits at a glance:

  • Increased productivity with simultaneous increase in part quality
  • Longer tool life
  • Simple handling: Sheets no longer need manual lubrication
  • Environmental protection: Selective oiling reduces oil consumption significantly
