Car and railway construction

In the production of vehicles and rail cars, small to medium welding constructions of up to 19.5 feet long and 6.5 feet wide are produced. The quality of the weld seam is an important factor because the material and joint strength must be guaranteed.

Welding miles of sheet metal

Oxide-free, smooth edges in one step

With TRUMPF bevellers, you can weld sheet metal and steel girders by the mile. In one step you can produce oxide-free and smooth K, V, X or Y edges.

The process is not only fast, it is also very precise. Bevellers are also often used in repair shops. There, welding must often be carried out manually in the under-chassis or on load-bearing parts.

Deburring of sharp edges

Deburrers smooth out sharp edges and produce clean radii in a single step. They can be used on sheets from 0.03 inches thick and up. The TruTool TKA produces both straight or radial edges, even on powder-coated materials.

Precise edge trimming

Trimming edges on deep-drawn sheets

If you need to trim edges on chassis or deep-drawn sheet metal parts without burring, then we recommend our TruTool S 214. With these trimming shears, you can cut workpiece edges of up to 3 inches thick, guiding the machine across narrow edges and radii. Strips added for support or transport can be easily cut off.
