The cleaning principle of the slat cleaner breaks down into three phases. The main cleaning phase takes place by crushing slag using two pairs of rollers.

The front crushing rollers are responsible for rough cleaning. The back finishing rollers handle the fine cleaning of the support slat. Finally, the loosely adhering slag is removed with a set of brushes.
